This disk is the only place you'll find the complete 'Live At Max's' show done by Gang War. (Two tracks from this show were previously released as a single, in 1987, on Zodiac records.) It's a good show and they have included the best songs from it. The band is tight and rockin' and they get into a good groove with 'Like A Rolling Stone'. Pared with the live show are the second studio demos done by the band. They are very raw and loose, even less polished than the first studio demos. This studio material can also be heard on the CD 'Crime Of The Century'.
Sound quality is poor on both the live show and the studio material but that's life. The cover has a great picture of the band done by Marcia Resnick. Get Street Fighting or Crime Of The Century before this.
